This paper will start with the classical description of gravity. It will next explain the mathematical tools that will be used to carry classical gravity to a geometrical frame. After demonstrating the covariant formulation of Newtonian gravity, large c expansion of Newton-Cartan gravity will be explained. Calculations of metric compo nents, connections and Ricci tensors of several orders will follow, concluding with the Ricci tensor of minus two. |
