dc.description.abstract In this thesis, we study the proof of the Weinstein conjecture for 3-dimensional closed manifolds equipped with an overtwisted contact structure. The method of filling by pseudoholomorphic disks and the bubbling-off analysis are the main tools that are used in this proof.
